That is good to hear. It is good to get an official announcement after all of the speculation.

Seems CCWS didn't stab RHR in the back as predicted in the Silly Season thread. He can only add to the teams performance IMO, glad he's onboard.

Yep.
Rocketsports have to step up to the pace this year - after flattering to deceive so far. |

Looks like the 'surprise announcement' has slipped out a couple of days early. It's great to see Ryan get a good drive, he and Alex should both win races next year. Presumably this means no third car though.

Any team that's so successful they get the rules changed TWICE must be compettitive! Good news I think, there's a lot of strong team/driver combinations emerging, and RHR/Tags should be a very strong team pushing Rocketsport forwards! |

At last a positive step. Now how about Timo Glock in the third Rocketsports entry.

But is Timo Glock still in the picture? He was testing for Rocketsports at Fontana yesterday.

Well the PKV livery is a bit of a disapointment, but just look at that funky walker scheme...........Hope they make the grid this year, even if it is just to ogle at the car's paint job.

I am glad RHR did not get stabbed in the back either. Good to see he has landed on his feet.

Looks like my cynicism regarding Ryan's prospects was misplaced - this is great news for everyone. Regarding Glock, my guess is that PG is trying to set him up a deal with Walker or Conquest, but will run him as a third car if neccessary to get the field up to 18. As witnessed in the IRL, it's not good for a championship when big teams run more and mroe cars at the expense of small teams.

What do you think this will mean for RHR?
Tag has been driving really well the last couple of years. The car usually hasn't been there, but he's shown that if the team can put together decent equipment he can be a force in the series. I predict Tag will be consistantly faster than RHR. PG is known to be difficult to work with. Many were concerned when Tag signed up with him, but they turned out to be a good match. Will the same be true with RHR? |

Tag didn't have a good second half of the season though, and they never did anythign with the second car, irrespective of who drove it. This could actually be a step down for Ryan, as HVM were makign real progress as Herdez. I agree that Tag should have the edge over Ryan, but proabbly not by much if PG and RHR can get on - and it's vital for the series that they do.

I am happy to hear that RHR has a ride. Hopefully he and Rocketsports can make good things happen this year.
