Royale RP6 Twin Cam running in Germany?

I have received a second-hand report of a Royale RP6 sports racing car running in Germany, possibly at a Sports Car Masters event or similar. This car is allegedly fitted with a Ford/Lotus twincam engine. Has anyone got any further information on this?

Also Chris, a quick 'google' of the German driver's name brings up this.
Scroll down to see his photo. If the same guy, it says he is vice president of the AvD, Auto Club of Germany.
Send them a mail for his attention?

Hi Chris,

I spoke the mechanic who had to restore this car in August 2006 during the Oldtimer Grand Prix. He told me then that it would take at least 10 months to get the car ready to compete in a race.
As mentioned above the car appeared again on the entry list in August 2007 but didn't show up.
I've traced the Koopman RP4 (converted to RP6 specs in 1972) in Holland. This car still has it's Alfa 1300 GTA dry-sump engine and 4-speed gearbox.

Hello Guus!

So the Koopman car still exists!? Does it run? The RP6 running in Germany with a twin cam is owned by Baron Othmar von Diemar. This was originally run in period by Harald Menzel (a Ford and BMW prodigy) with a 1300 BDA fitted. I'm still trying to find a picture of the car with the BDA installation, to assist with my HTP application. If I can achieve this, then the car can run in the new Masters Prototype series with an Atlantic spec BDA! Any help/leads to get a photograph would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Chris.
