Well again I think having it on the website is a step in the right direction, although having two is better, as it helps fill the gaps

Commentary was passable, especially after hearing the one at least year's Suzuka 10 hours.
As for the race itself, that was a good battle upfront, and it was nice to see the older guys in the Nismo and Zent car prove why they are still racing at this top level. The new Prius seems to be struggling though. Subaru is again a retirement. I hope they do something, as I really love the JAF GT300 cars and don't want GT300 to be another GT3 series |

Hiroaki Odajima (Michelin motorsport manager) told jp.motorsport.com about 2019 spec Michelin tire.
https://jp.motorsport.com/supergt/ne...helin/4383448/ *We were quick in the first few rounds of last year, in qualifying time and have high stability. However, in summer, we struggled with degradation. *Therefore, in the latter rounds, we changed the direction of development to emphasize durability. However, as a result, the qualifying speed was lost compared with the rival. *So, while keeping the stability of the long-run pace, we improved the qualifying speed this season. |

Considering that the IMPUL livery still uses the old Calsonic logos rather than the Calsonic Kansei corporate logo (which has been in place since 2001) suggests that the company was prepared to allow the use for sentimental reasons, I could potentially see them run something similar to Raybrig (by Stanley) and have Calsonic (by Marelli). That's if Calsonic don't leave the team which has been a worry for a few years now after their separation from Nissan. |

Autopolis will hold the service road bus tour during SGT tire test.
This is an event that runs a bus around the service road beside the main course. Could this be a popular event like circuit safari? https://twitter.com/autopolis2005/st...70013233225729 |

This notice says that;
(1)if Japanese badger appears far in the course, the Marshall raises the oil flag, (2)if Japanese badger appears near in the course, the Marshall raises the red flag, in this tire test. |

Tsukakoshi introduced left foot braking from this season because it is easier to turn round.
Baguette also uses left foot braking and strong foot pressure. So Tsukakoshi adopts strong foot pressure in order to share set-up with Baguette. Keihin (#17) set the top position in Honda in the Fuji Round, despite the gear troubles in the final corner. Fuji is a difficult circuit for Honda. So in Suzuka round, it is expected that they will make a great result. http://www.as-web.jp/supergt/480682?all |

In qualifying day of Fuji round, Raybrig (#100) were struggling to set-up.
Yamamoto says that the bouncing was so strong that he could not feel under steering and over steering. After qualifying, they changed their suspension geometry and aerodynamics to suppress bouncing. This was successful and they won the podium. Iyoki engineer says that today's set up has become a 2019 spec base set up. we can rate it 70%. http://www.as-web.jp/supergt/480723?all |

jp.motorsport.com is reporting Tsuchiya Engineering's financial problem.
https://jp.motorsport.com/supergt/ne...-2019/4388923/ *Tsuchiya says "I don't know how many races we can participate exactly because I have not calculated. But as I wrote on Facebook, it is impossible to participate in all races this season at present." *It was not due to the crash at Okayama, but actually it was a problem that they had before the opening race. *However, even if they are forced to withdraw in the middle of the season, there is a possibility that they will return to the grid again next year. *Tsuchiya says. "If we force it, we can participate in the whole race this year, but we don't want to risk the loss of our team." *In order to continue Tsuchiya Engineering for a long time, it is a judgment as a manager that it might be better to withdraw participation this year. *Such financial problems are common problems for privateer teams. *The crash at Okayama is not a trigger. Because it is a problem that tens of millions of yen are not enough. *The financial issue is always tough, especially this year. |

Ryo Michigami injured blade bone muscle when he stepped on the curbstone of Coca-Cola corner because he had his head fixed by the air-con duct pipe on the helmet, in the Fuji round.

Sorry, it's not an air-con duct, just an air duct.
They improve the duct to cushiony duct pipe. |

According to Takeshi Tsuchiya tweet,
Hoppy decided to increase the sponsorship fee and Team Tsuchiya (#25) could join the whole round with a little more money. https://twitter.com/TsuchiyaTakeshi/...46510114660352 |

Will that just be for the next race or the rest of the season? I can't tell if this means the funding is enough to see the season through.

GTA and BHJ / BH Auction have signed an official partnership for new business such as racing cars and racing parts auctions.
In this season, they will hold an auction for past JGTC/SGT cars at the Motegi round and a joint event with DTM in November. In the future, they aim to hold a historic car race named "Super GT Classic Race" for auction winners in the Suzuka sound of engine event. https://www.fmotor.jp/2019-sgt-rd3-bhj http://www.as-web.jp/supergt/485038?all |

Race day press conference by GTA (Masaaki Bandoh) <Part 1>
https://www.fmotor.jp/2019-sgt-rd3-gta *About midship BoP -At the moment, the ballast has not changed at 29 kg and the mounting position has not changed the condition in front of the front hub center. *About Suzuka 10 hour race -In the future, I would like to incorporate the Suzuka 10 hours into the Super GT series and give GT300 class participants the winning points. -I think the race that divided GT300 class and GT500 class is interesting. -Priority should be given to whether it is beneficial to the audience. *About joint events with DTM -We are currently discussing time schedules and support events. -It is not possible to release it yet. -We will use DTM's race format for the main race, but we would like to decide on other events and support races by Japanese side. *Next year's GT500 race -Check out what the Lexus Kuma-kichi will be in the future with Toyota's publicity. -Supra's wheelbase and height conform to the regulation, and how far the Supra's aerodynamics are allowed, etc. will be adjusted together with the DTM vehicle. -We would like to welcome if changing to Supra is a plus for manufacturers' marketing. -In connection with the new regulations from 2020, the problem is how to match the cost and delivery time to European standards by domestic common parts. -I would like to announce three manufacturers GT500s at the end of August. |

I will miss the Lexus LC but I guess the Supra is good for marketing even though I think it is very ugly. I think the Suzuka result is telling that the Lexus is really good in the hot weather and Thailand might be a repeat unless Michelin has an answer with their tires.
