Query?
Hi Everyone, can you tell me what the car was and also the drivers name of a Black SuperSaloon in my era, eg Late 1970's. It was called RAT 1.
It sounded different to other cars....my son has asked me, and I can't remember.......its an age thing! Thanks, Gerry. either post the reply or pm me. |

Gerry, i thoight you were more late 60s/early70s?
RAT 1 doesn't ring any bells with me, you don't mean the Rob Cox-Allison's "Black Brick" Lotus 7 clone do you? |

Dan I was thinking the same thing?
The only other black special saloon type projectile that was well enough known was Doc Enderby's Karmann Ghia BDA? John Schneider's Suzuki SC100 was also black but not as prolific? In each of these 3 cases they were all from the 80's rather than 70's? |

Hi Guys. I began in 1963 and ended in 1976. So I covered most of the two periods 60's and 70's. Maybe my son recalls something called RAT 1, but he could be mistaken......It wasn't any of the ones you mention.....maybe it was in a tv series!
