That Arrows is one well balenced car, and a couple of good drivers.

I was very impressed, while we had this red procession at the front Jos the Boss was neatly catching and overtaking anyone he came across. Way to go mate, you made the race for me!

Almost made it worth getting out of bed for.
What am I saying??? A Ferrari one-two made it worth getting out of bed for. It seems to be feast or fammine as far as passing goes. Even Rubens managed to get in on the act. |

Yes, very well done Jos.
He drove a fantastic race and showed everybody (again) he's as good in the rain as the next guy. Via phone from Canada Jos said: "I'm terribly happy ofcourse. The car was feeling good and when it started raining things went even better. Especially the brakes were very good. Good pit stop strategy from the team, everything was falling into place finally. The reason I made my first pitstop 3 laps earlier was because I blocked my front wheels which flattened the tyres a bit resulting in a vibration of the front of the car. My second pit stop was at the right moment, just when it started to rain. We gained a lot of time then. Back on the track I noticed I was much faster than Alex Wurz and passing him was not difficult. The team then told me to take it easy but I was gaining on Jarno Trulli fast and decided to try to pass him too. At first I kept my patience, switched from left to right to show him I was there and because of the better brakes I had I was able to pass him. Like I said, I'm very happy with the 2 points." Well done, Jos!! |

Perhaps he really is 'The Boss'...???
Jos was stunning out on the track today - without doubt the driver of the race. And credit too to De La Rosa who also drove yet another excellent race.
Well done chaps. |

I don't know. I was sitting in front of Pedro De la Rosa when he smacked the wall from Diniz. That was pretty entertaining. I vote Pedro as the star.
But seriously Jos did a fantastic job and deserves a great deal of credit. Giancarlo drove masterfully too. |

Oh EXCELLENT!! Spiffing! Love that "Jaws" fellow. Has such excellent repartie, what? Tally ho!
Only confirms my belief that the Arrows is "car of the year" in my book. It wasn't just when it was raining that it was fast, you know, even if it was due to lighter fuel load PS Don't those last three words "lighter fuel load" sound weird?! Sounds like pyrotechnics waiting to happen! |

Having Considered This.
On a day when even Barrichello was made to look reasonable, can we really say Jos was good? Think about it.

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I can!!!
I'm still smiling all day long, people think somethings wrong with me. My face resembles that smily. I know I'm totally screwing up a quote but "This is such stuff that dreams are made of". At last, if the bad luck turns into good luck there's only one boss. |

Tristan - I guarantee I was more insane than you the day after the Nurburgring '99...
Yes, Jos and Pedro have both been excellent this season. BUT... If the engine was rubbish then they'd still be down the bottom end, no matter how good their talents. |

Yay, Jos, but....
Funny that as Jay and I were both there that it was De La Rosa who really impressed. Accelerating out of the Hairpin in the early laps, he was clearly faster than Hakinnen and was dancing all over the back of the McLaren.
However Jos drove a carefull race for the first part, and as the conditions got devilish, he really shone. A great drive, a great day for Arrows-it calls to mind that glorious day at Kyalami in 1978 when Patrese burst onto the scene with the new Arrows. |

Actually, I meant the Shadow that Jackie Oliver "stole" and painted gold.
