RickP: Honda Civic Type-R
Ok guys,
Someone has jumped the gun a little on announcing current plans for 2002 in this weeks Autosport. It is true that we will very shortly have a Civic Type-R in build for endurance racing in 2002. The plan being to run a limited UK season with a few big forays into Europe for the major enduros (Nurburgring, Magny Cours, Paul Ricard etc). We hope to learn enough about the car during the build process to enable us to put together a car for class B touring cars assuming we can source the budget. More likely is that I put together a package to run a full season in the Clio Cup in the UK alongside my enduro comittments, I have a drive offered (although every other driver in the Western world is also in the frame apparently) it's just a case of putting a few quid together... We will be out in the Civic for the Willhire and several other UK rounds I expect in the Britcars...
