VLN Car Question - Michael Bäder's BMW Z4 V8

I have some questions about Michael Bäder's BMW Z4 V8, I have read that his BMW has/use to have one of the BMW sourced ex-Abt Audi TT-R DTM V8 engines that raced in DTM during 2000.

Does anyone know more about this? When did he first put that engine in his car and is it still being used by him? Onboard videos from 2008 one can clearly hear it’s a DTM engine, but 2011 onboard videos it sounds very different? Has he put a new engine in the car? If so when did he stop using the DTM engine?

(2011 sounds like a much newer BMW engine, almost sounds like the engines in the new Z4 GT3’s, I could be wrong though)

So I assume they have been using the S65 BMW engine for the 2011 season? They used the Mader V8 in 2008, anyone know which engine they used in 2010? Also did they race the car in 2009?
