confirmed. how is it possible to rain up your trouser legs?

in other news, toca are perhaps doing the right thing but forcing a lot of freelancers into a corner by demanding nobody travels outside the uk in the 14 days before they work at an event. some pretty harsh penalties if you’re caught fibbing too.

I'm about 30 miles north of the circuit. If the rain is even half as bad there as it is here, you'll be putting keels on the cars. Even by Scottish standards, this is pretty horrendous.

the worst day was tuesday. howling it down, no respite. it's now colder, but less wet... touch wood, don't think anyone has lost an awning yet which is an almost annual occurance up here.

pretty sure they could rig up a sail using the lifting points on the cars

in all seriousness, it's such a shame for the circuit that they can't allow people in. msv feels quite corporate, but what knockhill lacks in facilities they make up for in the warmth of the welcome. the staff are fantastic, it feels like a real family venue.

Less wet? I suppose it couldn't be more wet, but that surprises me. I'm literally up a big-ass hill, and it's flooding here. Up a hill. The weather here can be described as biblical.

the roads down the hill from the circuit into town were a rally stage with rivers and puddles on tuesday night whereas today it was just a bit wet. it was possible to leave awnings and not drown at several points during today which was definitely not an option on tuesday

Definitely is a circuit run with family love and warmth. Which is why I think their request for people to transfer tickets to next year (instead of refund) would probably be widely accepted.

One of the few positives of leaving my beautiful homeland and moving to the UK was being able to see some fantastic motor racing.

Missing it massively

no i think it’s an entirely true statement about the uk, we are really good at holding loads of motorsport in a pretty small country!

Dry but windy. It was baltic on Saturday last year because of the wind!

In the early days of RWD NGTC, an article was published that mentioned a potential weak point (5) in a bracket where the wishbone meets the subframe.
I believe this was deliberate so that it was an inexpensive item to replace that could be done quickly.

Sutton has reported that something on the sub frame broke.
TCT report that it was a part of the suspension.
Others have suggested axle (driveshaft?).

Ultimately, does it really matter to anyone other than the team having to repair the car?

From a spectator perspective, the car was not in a driveable condition.
