yelwoci should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
LeMans Entry Costs & Regs

I trawled around a bit and am stuck.....

1. How much does it cost to enter a LMGT car (GBP250K ??)
2. Where are the regs for 2000/2001/2002 for LMGT cars

Thinking of running one for next year, if I can get a package together.

Found it!
Looks as if its GBP2000 to send the entry in and GBP15000 per car.
Not too bad!
Then there's the cost of the car, spares, troops, motor homes, food, fuel tyres, insurance, travel..............

And the track only supports 48 cars, so you have to out qualify the other 100 hopefuls!

Ian,

Exactly when and where will you finish in the top six in 6 (?) international events so that you can qualify for your International A licence by March next year?

Peter,
Nice of you to think of me so highly!!!!

Just like Jon owen, I'm thinking in terms of running a car not necessarily driving it!

But now you've mention it...
I can't find any mention of the required license and this isn't an FIA event!
Hmmhhhh

They must surely demand at least Intl B, if not as Pete suggests Intl A.

:-)

2.3 - Valid documents to be produced :
2.3.1 - Competitor's licence : the wording of the licence which is shown will be deemed the
only one official and it will not be possible to modify or change it ;
2.3.2 - Drivers' licences : FIA Grade B minimum ;
2.3.3 - Permission to race in France granted by the National Sporting Authority (A.S.N.)
which has issued the licences for Competitors and Drivers from a country outside the
European Economic Community.

So I only have to upgrade my Intl-C licence.....
Might take a few years mind!
