We're getting a bit paranoid aren't we? Sometimes nicknames are just a hangover from the geeky days of t'internet when everything was done behind a nom de plume. When I joined Tenths I thought it was the done thing to "hide" ones identity becuase (almost) everyone else seemed to. I even changed "Midgetmax" to "Midgetman" because I thought people would complain about me promoting my business. (There, it's not really a typo but it makes a good story). You can still find more about me at my profile, I've nothing to hide.

Max (hardly ever use my surname so won't start now)

Bruce Fullerton. The 10 was the racing number of my good friend Tony Clinkard - unfortunately lost to us at Cadwell a few years ago.

John I think that your idea is a good one. I race with the HSCC in the Derek Bell Trophy in a F5000 Lola.

Cheers,

Bruce

Bruce, warm welcome. Of course, you will now have to put up with this grey haired old chap introducing himself at the next DBT race I attend. Bad luck!

To register for the members area on the CTCRC site it is required to use your own name although we allow people to register with a psuedo name if they only want to browes the public areas. I personally think its a good idea as I like to know who I am talking to and as its a members only section a lot of the arguments for anominity put forward thus far are no longer relevant.

BTW my real name is Allan!

Hi all,
Chris Adams, Four Ashes Aston specialists, we prepare & rebuild of some of the fastest 1950s Astons - also TheDBs when on the forum from work. I also get to to race sometimes (although I am often so worn out that I often don't enjoy the racing)

In order for you to have a rest, you could carry on building them, and I'll race them for you.Does that sound like a good idea.

Hi Jason - I knew it was you really! Hope the family's all well and see you on track again soon! Perhaps you could find something to race with the CSCC! It was nice racing your Dad in March, until he overtook me - always thought he was a gentleman!

Hi All

Sarah, do you have a creche at CSCC ? that might bring me out, I do have a cortina lurking somewhere that might make one of your grids... I have allergies to V8's.

Simon, my stable is shared between several drivers and most are used regularly. [although collections are always work in progress arent they.....]

Hi, I'm James Parsons.
I race classic F3 with the HSCC when time and funds allow - previously raced with the Classic Saloon Car Club.

We have a lot of families - you might find a convenient teenager who wants to earn Nanny fees!

Our V8s are VERY well-behaved - and we have several cortinas (in the Lotus class as well) - in fact we have so many Lotuses we might just give them a Lotus-only race or two next season - like the one I ran at Spa a few years ago!

I used 'Morninggents' to respond to criticisms of the HRSR on these fine pages. I used this name rather than my own (Peter Wray) as I wanted to respond in my own right as opposed to being a committee member of the HRSR as my comments may have been taken to represent the HRSR rather than as my own opinions.

'Morninggents' came about as my stepson, Nick Ledger, used the name 'Eveningladies' for other purposes and when my wife was looking for a name for ebay purchases she used a play on 'Eveningladies' - hence I used it for 10 Tenths.

that was actually what I meant, but what I tried to highlight is that I am less interested in many of the "quality" posters in the F1 forums...
