PeterY should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I'm going to guess at Will Moore joining the grid in some form, he put on twitter yesterday his plans for next year were going to be announced today but nothing has come out yet.

that was wrong then just racing a lambo next week.......

Jordan testing at Brands today, Gardx on the car, not Pirtek.
Not had time for a change of colour scheme or Pirtek days over?

I would think it's not time to change the colour scheme. AJ's move to WSR was announced on the Pirtek Racing Team website!

Just a suggestion: Adam Morgan missed Macau last weekend in order to concentrate on his 2017 BTCC programme. Could tonight's news be manufacturer backing of some kind for Ciceley?

Disappointing to see Tordoff go, personally I can't understand his decision and it'll be quite a big loss for BTCC and WSR. I'd like to see Jordan, Goff and some young gun in the squad, however, as JCT and IHG are going, I think it'll be hard for the team to fund to more cars. And I don't believe in Turkington switching to BMW, as I doubt he has that rich sponsors behind him.

Hopefully, the announcement which we will see in half an hour's time means something big for BTCC.

It had some Pirtek logos on it (sunstrip and rear wing), the Pirtek deal runs until the end of next season and GardX are Tordoff's sponsors. The car he was driving is getting stripped down and rebuilt in the next few weeks, so I'd imagine it'll get its new livery at that point.

WSR has announced an exciting new partnership with Pirtek Racing and Andrew Jordan for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

Another manufacturer entry - fantastic news. The car should be an absolute cracker as well - looking forward to seeing who they get signed up to drive them.

Interesting deal as clearly PMR have gone to Vauxhall with a business opportunity and fleet purchase of vehicles for Automotive Brands as the leverage.

Let's just hope they can get decent drivers in it! Be an absolute waste of a car if they keep Shunter and Fletcher!

I know it's only a mock-up livery but interesting to note that other than the badge on the grill there is zero Vauxhall branding on the car. I would expect more from manufacturer-backed programme.

Makes me think that apart from the shells & manufacturers entry fee they might not be putting much £££ into the team. I'm sure who they pick as drivers will reflect that somewhat!

Nothing on any of vauxhalls social media accounts either. Subaru went mad last year when they were announced. I have a feeling there isn't a massive vauxhall input. But hopefully I'm wrong

Also, assuming MG don't find a way of ending their contract early, I think this is the first time we'll have seen 4 manufacturer entries in the BTCC since 2004

No quote from Vauxhall either, I guess this is a nominal Vauxhall entry and they are paying the entry fee and supplying shells. I thought it might have a Vauxhall sunstrip or leading roof edge, maybe the final version will.

The Dynamics cars only had Honda on the back this year.
Only the Subaru and MG had manufacturer names/logos on

I doubt Vauxhall will put any money in. If they do get behind it though, it will be very cheap motorsport, they were spending millions per year before!

No doubt, there isn't much Vauxhall's involvement in this programme as well as not much money from them (yeah, probably only a manufacturer fee) but still it's great to have another manufacturer- backed team in the BTCC. And to see Vauxhall in the field again will be amazing. Hopefully, PMR will get some good drivers - otherwise, Vauxhall backing could end quickly.
BTW - any guesses about line-up?

Similar to what other people are saying, it's positive to have another manufacturer entry in the BTCC, but unfortunately it seems like the entry is there as a supporting role to the commercial vehicles deal instead of vice versa
