More thanks to Julian,
you have been tremendous help to us rookies.
The missus said I should get off my backside and do more, so I've volunteered for 28 meetings so far. Have I got it wrong?
Julian, I hope they remember you in the Queen's birthday honours,
arise Sir Julian!

I shall be there, and will probably thank you personally. I spent a very happy time last night clicking boxes and dispatching messages to volunteer for the season, and much easier than the old way it was too. The only shame is that BRDC isn't on there so I'm going to have to look for the form. I was also quite tempted to volunteer to myself!

I like the way you get a summary so that it can be printed and kept. The only improvement I can think of is to have a 'submit for insurance' button on the bottom of the confirmation so that it produces an electronic green slip to the BMMC. Something for the future, perhaps?

Julian, hadn't looked at this thread for a while so apologies for kyboshing the weather for you way back when (note to self: find out when Jules is next flying and have a word with the top man - Bernie - so he can get God to make it shine).

Now if only I could make this true so we don't get snowed in at Mallory on Sunday!

PS: Quote: "The Fat Clerk only flies in aeroplanes that have engines - preferably 4!" - Is that how many takes to get you airborne, Dave???????

I probably owe Bricey a hug now as well!!!!!

Yeah & that's pushing it.
I really need one of those Russian Antonov things.
Many, many years, a load of us from the rugby club went on a Parachute Jump for charity, I was the last one out of the plane, & the first one to hit (literally) the ground, & I had a 3 canopy 'trick' chute not the normal one.

But the parachute obviously did the trick, Dave. Otherwise there would be a *** hole in the ground!

Volunteering for Rockingham SCSA2006

Just in case you haven't seen the other thread!

BRSCC are insisting that all marshals who wish to volunteer for the SCSA at Rockingham MUST complete THEIR form -

heres the link >> http://www.brscc.co.uk/default.asp?page=rockingham

See you there!

p.s. if any potential Pits / Startline people want to also let me know of their availability that would be good! PM me, or email - scsa@fsmail.net is better still!

Thanks

There is now a MSVR Cadwell Park form available.

MSVR is organising an event at Cadwell on the 29th May. If you are available for this, I am sure that Dave Scott and his team would appreciate your help.

You know, they should've raised the retirement age many years ago!
At least you'd be doing something and under the watchful eye of others!
