Zandvoort circuit visit questions.

Hey I'm visiting Zandvoort circuit in a few weeks time as a spectator and I want to know the usual questions like where are the best vantage points? where's nice to eat and drink in zandvoort?

Can't comment on eating or drinking I'm afraid, I usually stick to trackside food.

You'll find that in Zandvoort, pretty much anywhere is a good vantage point. The track is set in sand dunes, some feel like they tower above the track. Plenty of spaces where you can get a clear view free from fences.

Whatever you are seeing, make sure you go for the full weekend. The whole track is worth exploring. Turn 1 (Tarzan) was my choice for the DTM race day a few years ago:

There was another huge dune in the middle of the track that let you have a clear shot of this chicane:

One of my favourite tracks that I've visited. I'm sure you'll love it! What race are you seeing?

thanks Down f0rce. I'm heading over for the first round of the Dutch Time attack. It's not to many people's liking but I love it.

Food - lots of places on the main pedestrianised street in town, which runs down the hill away from the sea to the town square. I can recommend the steaks in El Toro. On the beach near the casino is Beach Club Tien which also does a decent range of seafood.

Views - they have fenced off Hugenholtzbocht which used to be very good. There is a stand at the top of the paddock inside Hunserug which gives a good view or we stand next top the track either half way qround or on the exit to Hans Ernst Bocht. If its ****ing down, which it can, go to Micky's bar in the Tango paddock and watch the screens ;-)

Great place, enjoy your trip

I'm there for 4 races this year two at the HARC Historic meeting and two at the Historic GP
