Funny how teams with driver vacancies are always quick at tests, isn't it?

IMO it's better to have quality than quantity. i could see at least 5 strong drivers chasin the championship...

I think Rossiter's going to walk this championship. He's still got lots to learn in F3 and yet he's on top in all the testing. I can't see anyone else challenging him. He's a very dedicated guy, too. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in F1 testing next year.

ya but we always see Fauzy very quick sometimes but he's never consistent enough. Remember Thruxton last year, he went off after losing the lead...

I just think that Rossiter is already better prepared for this year than Jamie Green was last year, and we're gonna see him kick butt

For what it's worth, and having driven the Fortec car, and having watched it on track, Alex thinks Rossiter/Fortec will get pole pole win win at Donington, with relative ease

Jinxx, sorry to hear about the funding difficulties Alex is having, I wish you both the best in getting him on the grid this year. I'm currently having the same sort of difficulties but have chosen to start the season even if it means sponsor-hunting all through the year.
Good luck! I'm sure if he gets in there he'll be right up there! |

Are Manor (who may / may not compete) in British F3 for one / a few races going to be testing over here? Do many of the British F3 teams do one-off Euroseries races?

good to see ronayne o'mahony picking up the places compared to yesterday and the last test.
rossiter had better watch out for f3's resident loony ernesto viso though, if he keeps up that form. duck! |

Times were set on a damp/drying track. By end of the session no dry line had appeared, so times would still have come down if the track had dried.

It's not usual for teams to go and do one-off Euro races (though we've only had one season to compare with) I think because of (a) the expense of travelling, and (b) having to use different tyres. They do seem to manage for the non-champ events like Zandvoort - and several Euro teams did Spa in British F3 last year. But the drivers have been known to wash pretty freely between the two series (witness Jamie Green, Adam Carroll and Robert Doorknobs). |

Sorry, what I meant to say was Andrew Thompson is the only reason the British championship has any credibility
