Chris is the marshals secretary for BARC so is the best place to start

Regarding your own volunteering, you can do this online via the BARC system.

The meeting is still listed and I would be very suprised if it was an "over subscribed" meeting.

As you say you have emailed Chris (I suppose you asked about volunteering for this meeting and the possibility of "taster day" as well) .... why not wait for his reply? Or you could even use the phone and call.

Just a thought

I thought yesterday was a really good meeting to finish off the Thruxton car season.

Finally got a chance to meet Flying Muppet unfortunately Andy seemed to have the weekend from hell. I hope you have gotten over your dizziness from all the spins?

Hi Norbert,

Good to meet you too! Yes, it was rather a spin fest for me, which took it's toll on the tyres..

I was particularly frustrated to spin out of the battle for 2nd in class approaching the chicane - and then to suffer fuel starvation in the latter part of the race...

Thanks for all of the support and waves however! That was my first visit to Thruxton - wow...

I was spectating at this. Good event.

I thought the turnout of BARC marshals was impressive, each post was extremely well-manned.

I was Post Chief on the chicane and was glad that I only had to report a spin and continue because your fellow competitor was bloody close to taking off your front end!
