Team RUNUP (#360) announce that they will sell Corvette Z06 and pariticipate in GT300 class (by new car?) this season.

So the Germans feels their DTMs will be at a disadvantage and may not let a local team run them. But on top of it they won't run it themselves? That seems like a big waste of time to unify the cars if so.

So I guess it's a waste then... Well that's not a surprise since the Germans are too scared to bring their DTM cars to Japan, while forcing them to unify the regulations.

I hope some show up. I think they will. Be interesting to see some GT300 teams upgrade to GT500 with a DTM, they just need better (non spec) tires and a little more engine power.

Yeah, I agree to that! That way, they're not wasting their money on unifying the series...

Speaking of which, I wonder if they could shove their rulebook to other silhouette racing series like STCC and Trans-Am in maybe 2015 or 2017?

A DTM costs 700K? Ouch, so much for replacing DP with the unified car. And the Germans completely pussing out on SGT just confirms what I already knew.

Yeah, but we have to wait and see... Right now, it seems that the unification has gone in vain thanks to the German marquees from DTM.

If they want to bring their cars to Japan, why don't they make it cheaper. They agree to unify regulations with the clause of making it cheaper and yet they claimed that their DTM cars are expensive than GT500 cars? I think it's the opposite!

Will Kraft run Toyota in GT300? They've ran Toyota/ Lexus for so long now. Maybe Prius? GT86??

So I suspect whether they can participate in GT300.
