Marshals wanted - Curborough Sprint Saturday 1st October
I'm posting this on behalf of Fred Bromley who is a bit busy at the moment.
BARC Midlands Centre are desperately short of Marshals for Saturday 1st October for their last sprint of 2005. Its a single lap event with close on 60 entries. We need to finish early because the Rescue Unit has another event to attend in the evening, which is why we can use all the help we can get! There will be the usual marshal's raffle with some great prizes, cold drinks, crisps and choccy bars during the day as well as the usual superb free lunch from Pam and her team. And (and this is probably the best incentive) Cliff isn't doing the commentary!  If there are any of you out there who would like to join us for what should be a great day, please contact Fred either by e-mail or PM. Sheila |

A great day, despite the Austin 7 that rolled at the Mole Hill (I understand that Christine was a bit bruised and battered but otherwise unharmed), the weather (which couldn't make it's mind up what to do) and the fact that the caterers forgot to bring the marshals' lunches
 . Thanks to Dick and Richard for going out and buying our sarnies!
