rookie2006 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1.9" Dampers with 2.25" springs ?

I've just bought new dampers for the front of my '89 Mondiale. I ordered 2.25" dampers but the company (no names !) have sent me 1.9" ones. When queried they have said that they have sent the wrong spring platforms and are sending me out the correct ones. Can 2.25" springs work correctly on 1.9" dampers ? they're single adjustable mono tube coil overs. They lay flat in the bottom of the chassis. Many thanks for any advice.

Make sure they are designed to work when flat certain dampers can't be mounted at more than 45 degs, eg evos. Otherwise if the top mounts and spring platforms hold the spring in place see no problems.

Rayff. Thanks for that. I understand they will work lying flat in the car. I had to wait four weeks for them to be made. Thanks for advice.
