I wouldn't even be that harsh on them and I just described their season, with some exaggeration, as a dumpster fire burning inside a tyre fire. There have been much less professional outfits to come along, though by the rapidly-rising standards of GT300, they are well behind the curve of even their fellow small-time independents - it's just hard to do a whole lot with an obsolete car, two drivers in their fifties, and no budget.

Fair enough.

I knew they had a disastrous year and maybe I was being a bit harsh with the Andrea Moda comment but they were causing a bit of chaos out there.

I'm all for the smaller independent teams that run on the smell of an oily rag but not if they are a danger to others.

I squinted and strained a whole lot to figure it out, but it seems like Treluyer is being linked to the #21 Hitotsuyama R8, potentially as a third driver or even an outright replacement for Lyons and Fujii.

That's a huge potential story though, to have a former GT500 champion, now a three-time Le Mans winner and World Endurance Drivers' Champion in the time since he's retired from Super GT, coming back to the series in GT300.
