JAMES BECKETT BANNED (actually, No - JT)

I attended the masters Test Day at Goodwood yesterday and was told by James that he had been banned from this forum for promoting this and other Masters events !!!!!.Looking at the first half a dozen topics listed here how can that be ,especially as the forums title is Historic Racing TODAY

For information of all concerned, we do not discuss the status of our posters.

However in this case I have just checked and James is certianly not banned. I believe he has been asked to restrain his activities when promoting events but that is a forum rule.

No he's not banned, not even an infraction, you should find out the facts and not let people spin you a line before before committing digits to keyboard. Thanks for your continued support

I would add that James is very welcome here; a great enthusiast for our sport and he was very gently and amicably requested (by me, on one thread, I believe) to maybe reduce his promotional input a little on an inappropriate thread.
