Thoroughbred Sportscars

How about this one then?
I painted this 24 x 18in. original 2 years ago for Rick Galvani and Chris Conoley of 'Cambridge Motorsport ' for their Christmas card.
Some of the cars they prepare are shown in this montage including Group 4 Chevron B8 at Monza, Jaguar XK150 rallying in Australia, TVR Grantura's at Spa,Triumph TR4 at Cadwell, MGB at Brands and TR2 at the Nürburgring.
Great to paint some old classics like this and the nice thing to know is that these Christmas cards are never thrown away but usually kept and framed.
A very interesting place Cambridge Motorsport. You never know what cars you may find there having a rebuild.

I'm getting the feeling that you have developed a fondness for painting eau rouge.

Yes, well its such a great location isn't it and I receive requests from clients to paint this view!
Such a pity it is now lost from the F1 calendar, but hopefully I'll have some more scenes to paint from here again - after that is a Michael Schumacher Eau Rouge 2002 commission I have at present!
