BTCC Programs (BRANDS)

Hi there,
Ive seen this come up before, but seeing as im new, I cant seem to find the old discussion.

Anyway, has anyone got the 2001 Brands Hatch rounds 25 and 26 Program? I would buy one off someone for a few pounds if anyone has a spare

...so you just go up to the people at the program stalls at the end of the racing weekend and ask for a free program?

(joey1 might had just answered me this) Also, how do some people get hold of bits of car (ie bumpers)? As you see some people walking around with them and end up taking them home. I thought you couldnt do this?

er they're either just lieing by the back of the garage, or in bins ect. or ask marshalls kindly.

well if they're in half not really. and damage is expected in btcc not like f1 where each panel is probably like £6 million!

If you walk round the padock each team has heaps of spare panels anyway. Or atleast Honda have hundreds of bumpers. Maybe thats just because the Honda Bumpers don't seem to like the car. (It could be a secret plan to shed weight each race

Speaking to one of the Honda mechanics at Brands regarding spare car parts, they said that they will take some bits back to the workshop to see if they can repair them, rather than just give them away, yet if something comes off round the circuit, then they wont bother with those.

I remember spotting a Pug bonnet at Knockhill in 2001 - wondered about asking what was going to happen to it, but there was only fire damage to it(from Eaves fire in qually) so I presumed that it could be sorted.

Don't know who it was but I remember one marshal said that they take all parts back to the teams - and they seemed quite upset when I suggested that fans could have them.
