TGP World championship to debut in 2 weeks

TGP Historic F1 world championship will debut at Hockenheim in 2 weeks during the Jim Clark revival, "new" cars are awaited, a Alfa Romeo 179C for example. I had the chance to be at their test day at the Paul Ricard last week and made some photos, the Alfa looks beautiful but is not very reliable yet, there was a Arrows A5 too and other classic Lotus 78, 77, etc...Williams ...
That's here : http://www.gurneyflap.com/tgppaulricard.html

Well, I'm certainly going to try to get to the Silverstone Classic which is holding the British round. It's great to see them out.

John, as far as im aware the TGP Round has been moved to support the Grand Prix Masters event in August. There will still be an invitational race at the Silverstone Classic for 'TGP Era' cars, so perhaps some will take the opportunity to get some practise on the Historic Circuit.

No problem. The series also takes a visit to Donington in September if you didn't already know.

The invitational race at the Silverstone Classic is for all F1 cars from 1966 up to 1978 (like GPM).
TGP Regulation are F1 from 1966-1985.

Right, GPM championship but not TGP.
I would have liked to do the Euroboss test day but couldn't be at the Paul Ricard and Spa at the same time
I would be at Dijon in October, hope it won't be cancelled.

I think EuroBOSS-Dijon-October is very surely. We have a good relationship to the organiser (the same from our race last year at Magny Cours)!
A few question gives over Jarama, Eurospeedway and Spa...

Mmm, yes the 179 is a very welcome addition!!

I see a Peter Sowerby down in a Wiiliams, is that the same guy who won the Fiestas a few years back and used to do BTCC Production with Barwell?!

Is he new to the series?
