I Heart Talmasci.
Was that crash his fault? Was it annother of his hijinx? Does this wacky Hungarian have a career outside of 125s?
YOU be the judge! Discuss! |

I rate Talmacsi too. He got a raw deal from the morons at KTM, when he grasped an opportunity and passed Mika Kallio for a GP win. To be honest, why would any mustard-keen racer do otherwise, how often in your life are you going to be presented with such a chance ? Down here in the Antipodes, the live Fox tv cover is commentated by the infuriating, and increasingly-irrelevant Nick Harris, who after that result spent the next year telling us that Talmacsi had cost Kallio the title, ignoring the fact that Kallio had such a big sook about being beaten that he dropped the ball entirely, had two self-induced crashes and a couple of brain fades, and lost the title of his own volition. The end result of the witch hunt, and subsequent sacking of Talmacsi, caused me to lose all respect of Kallio and KTM, who have made a number of baffling decisions along the way, and now with Talmacsi a chance to not only win the title, but to rub KTMs nose in it in doing so, is a joyous prospect. The crash in question is probably Just One Of Those Things that occur in the maelstrom of 125 racing. Go Gab !

To answer the original question, no the accident wasn't his fault.
