British GT - Donington October 5/6

Is it just me, or is it at all suspicious that there's no published timetable for this event, less than 2 weeks before it happens?

By suspicious, I mean early starts/late finishes/duff series/etc.....

That'll be the one

But it's hidden in the downloads section - the event page(s) don't show it, Donington Park hasn't got the timetable........

And a 1625 finish on Sunday Surely someone will turn up with a 3 hour endurance race......

About to make a remark about the timetable being available on the Donington site, when I realised you were talking about the BRSCC F3 & GT meeting (5/6 Oct) and not the MSVR GT meeting this coming weekend!

Think I need a trip to Specsavers!

I wish it was a 3 hour race, sadly the program says it's 2 hours

British GT timetable

At the risk of gatecrashing someone else's party I suggest a modicum of caution with the GT timetable. There is no mention of the HRDC Allstars race which is scheduled for Saturday so some reshuffling may be pending.

That would be this official provisional timetable, then?

The one with the HRDC Allstars on it.

Timetable does not look too bad. However, Prescott beckons for me.

Only 2 hours? That's a sprint!

Remember the good old days? ... minimum 6 hours - with proper cars [and then of course there was the Will-hire 24(25) hour]

Yup, I remember them! GT1's (Porsche, McLaren, Lister, Stealth to name a few) and there is still the occasional 6hour race (goes off to reminisce) Great days worth of racing, (or more for the Willhire)

Will you be there next weekend?

I'll give it another day to see if they arrive tomoz before making contact with someone. It's only as I've never marshalled at Donington before that I could do with the signing on procedures and where to go, ect, but I'm sure if they don't arrive, somebody will point me in the right direction.
😊

From post 6 it certainly looked like you guys were having everything except the kitchen sink thrown at you - but equally, it looked like things were dealt with really well given the circumstances.

The GT race itself was superb from our viewpoint. And it's nice to have come home with "circuit face" in October!
