Pointless Orange items....

Right then........its all getting a bit serious on here with all the "Marshalling Standards stuff"...........Now that its almost Winter and we need some really useless and wacky threads , i thought id start us off......On a recent trip to Coniston i purchased an ORANGE climbing Carabeena which i placed on my key ring, whilst in the walking shop i also bought an Orange LED Torch....which is odd because i don't go climbing in the dark!.....has anyone else bought anything this year that they really didn't want or need ....but it was Orange ? {Just me then?}.

See my avatar, the helmet is necessary, the paint job is a point of identification.

The Flagman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
My kids bought me an orange tiger onesie for Christmas and challenged me to wear it on circuit.

Well it did get worn to an evening function, being very well received, and the suggestion went forward. All personnel were in favour (inc Clerk of Course) that it should be worn during the next days racing.

I was nearly bold enough but the suit had no pockets so nowhere to hang the radio......

Next year maybe!

Apart from that theres the Casio watch from Argos, an insulated mug, a wind up torch and a drawer full of odd stuff and clothing all in Orange. Trouble is Orange isn't a standard colour so none of it really matches.

In Stafford Market yesterday we spotted some orange silky fabric with black "hallowe'en" motifs. I joked about making Bill some overalls out of it - and we hadn't even seen this thread then.

We can always go back if anyone is interested.
