Not that I've taken a lot of notice (ahem) but Save As, then open in Windows Pic and Fax Viewer, Rotate anticlockwise et voila, an interesting picture right way up.

Who was brave enough to ask for the flag back then?

What do you mean? we must have had at least 9-10 spinners that were nearly off!

Some great car control from the drivers though!

Justin

If only we had something to do!
I agree the car control was good.
But it was hard to keep track of who was where with the spread of the field.

Sorry to take the thread off-track.

bluebeard: we had plenty of action late on in the race down at shell... first one crashing into the Armco just by us at the Shell in Flag point, leaving a bit of bodywork stuck between the panels of the armco...

then right near the end of the race car 131, slipped off the tarmac and into the tyres halfway round shell and at the same moment we had another one in the gravel in the middle.

you wait 4 hours for something to happen, then 3 incidents in about 10 mins of each other.

Druids was very quiet - we did think one of the VWs was going to bury it in the gravel about half an hour from the end, but he just drove straight through...

An interesting quarter hour or so when the rain started, though - more 'spun & continued' than you could shake a stick at.

Those two superb Formula Ford races made the whole day worthwhile!
