Wow, Mr Gilham has certainly done a fine job of stirring up discussion. I'm amazed at how cryptic many here believe it to be.

I think so too, Howard Fuller was recently confirmed for their GT program and his number is 22.

So the BTCC part must be referring to "someone borrowed?"

Aron Smith is the 2nd AMD driver I believe. A few BKR team members have made the move too.

Well nearly as surprising as Jeff Smith driving for his own team again, we finally have official confirmation that Tingram is returning with Speedworks and Austin will be returning with Handy! Excuse me while I go for a lie down to cope with the shock

He wasn't confirmed - both sides readily admitted it was 99% per cent going to be the same again but they needed to cross the t's and dot the i's...

TCT reported he was returning and a sponsor deal indicated he would be, but it's been published as a news article in MN today!

I stand corrected, it was so obvious i guess i just recalled that old TCT article and assumed it was a done deal.

Good to see Ingram back at Speedworks. He did a really good job last year pushing that Avensis. Hopefully he backs up his fast qualy pace with some better race results now he has a season of running at the front under his belt. I also get the feeling that Tingram at Speedworks is a lot like Jordan at Eurotech. Sort of found a family like surrounding that is helping him perform.

Both very storng contention for the Independent champions if they can string a good season together although not sure how i feel about "Handy has worked in partnership with Speedworks Motorsport but for 2017 it will be a true standalone entity." i kind of feel that given they are one car entries learing and development will be much quicker if they work together

Regarding Handy:

"Additionally, a brand new high-profile commercial partner will be announced on the first day, with confirmation of the teamís full portfolio of key backers." Good to see the increased backing.

"weíre looking forward to giving everyone the first glimpse of our stunning new livery Ė we think itíll be pretty popular!" Sounds promising!
