Keith Holland did escape, but I wouldn't like to be the engine builder tasked with cleaning out the 4x 48IDA Webers from a contemporary F5000 Chevy motor....

The second one tsl's people didn't time as they only do one they said
So dad was timing me as he always does
I either could of been slower 50 seconds or faster
But dads very good an percised as we have matched him too other results at the cscc meeting an he's been 200's out only

Lee - I presume you've seen the footage of what is now your car racing at Oulton Park sometime in the eighties that can be found on Youtube?

Also, here http://tentenths.com/forum/showpost....9&postcount=39 is the link to a shot of Keith Holland abandoning ship in the lake at Mallory! Enjoy....

That is one spectacular picture clive humour also very shocking stuff didn't a thunder saloon go in too?.
The video wth my car in it at oulton park is nw gt 88 on youtube it is the great maurice lyon racing there
I love that clip it make me laugh the smoke coming off the car apparently my dad said it was a oil catch tank pipe blew off proper smokes like a beagle on crack haa haa.
You may have noticed the new windscreen strip on it
Now saying "costello lyon"
In respect of the sad passing of maurice lyon
An will always be remembed by.

Lee, I've put a few photos on 70s super saloon pics thread. Fifty pages of info. There's plenty of superb photos. A lot better than mine.
