BrendanM should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Coat

Thought I would be prepared and get a new coat (at least 10 years from this one I reckon - so now into the whell well for tyre changes).

I seem to recall a link to a rather snazzy (orange) hi viz with zip out orange boday warmer...but now cant find it ;-(

Anyone better memory than me (which is not saying much)

Me too. Having the zip out warmer is fantastic.
It's well worth it.

And me. The bomber jacket and zip apart work well in combination. I found at the snowy Mallory I could go zip-out inner (bodywarmer)-bomber jacket-zip-out outer for completely warm and dry.

The only problem I've found is that I haven't yet memorized the layout of the many pockets, so I occasionally lose things!

No, I've never lost you in my pockets. Not intending to, either.

Most markets seem to have atleast one stall selling hiviz orange and yellow jackets and fleeces. You have the advantage of being able to try them on before you buy.
