Once had this year? So Smiley was nearly signed with either Motorbase or Simpson then?

Only 2019 drivers to not have a seat yet are: Collard, Smith, Caine, Simpson, Tordoff, Hamilton (HARD?) Blundell (retired) so we can assume one of these has a seat?

Despite being one of the first to say Shedden in Simpsons Civic, I think he has to be with Motorbase
After all their silence since the season end (until maybe a fortnight ago) I cant help but feel they are building up to a massive "completes the 2020 grid" headline grabbing moment, and I dont think anyone will be that excited to see it as Michael Caine or someone of that pedigree.

It also wouldnt surprise me if they left it until media day or the official pre season test, whatever they are having this year

Caine's not renowned for having the funds to tackle a full season I believe was the last thing said about him on this thread.

Wonder if Simpson will continue and if not, who'll drive his Civic?

At what point did i say it would be Caine? I said I think motorbase are holding this back for announcing Shedden on the eve of the season as it would be a headline grabber
The comment regarding Caine you could have put any midfield to tail ender without a drive there and the sentiment would be the same.
