Looks like quali today was a MESS, sorry joeb's dad. Haven't seen the weather for tomorrow but so far the weekend has been a wet mess for the fans to endure.

he said it rained for the entire Michelin tires race yesterday, but it was very enjoyable with a close battle in TCR being decided by an off at Turn 3 with a couple laps to go.

The WeatherTech race should be good today weather wise.

Hindy's weak attempts to justify this only make the whole thing look worse. It's like were haven't seen multi-class racing before.

IMSA could be running on the Nordschlife and if there is a cookie crumb on the track they will pull out a full course safety car with full wave arounds. One hour into the race as I type this. Nothing to analyze as nothing of consquence has happend as the two long safety car periods has kept each class race together.

which is even more paradoxical considering it's decades IMSA (and before ALMS) runs in tracks like mosport, vir, lime rock etc... which have really low safety standards

So, is this race live? I thought it was run a couple of weekends ago. I can't keep up but I'm watching it as if live in prep for Nashville. There's another race on too. Porch is somewhat coolish and the cold snacks are cold.

25 minutes before the end Campbell in the GTLM Porsche is doing some HUGE lift and coasts. Some hypermiling going on.

Not keeping up that well with Hindys call today, couple laps with hot tires can be done

Glad that cleaned up after that rough first hour. Remaining 1 hour 40 was proper IMSA racing. Great day for Porsche!. Matt Campbell and Lawrence Vanthoor are bosses.

Mother Nature had her own ideas. Had the rain arrived, everything would have been turned upside-down. I quite enjoyed the race. I'm a Corvette fan when it comes to GTLM, but it was actually kinda nice to see them finish behind the Porsche.

Thats a big deal for the V.I.R all GT race. I think there can be an 18 car overall grid there now. Bear minimum sized grid it needs to be to justify future all GT races probably.

As much fun as the all GT races might be, I would love to see prototypes race at VIR again!
