Do the maths and please explain how much it would take for an increase in gate sales per event to make this viable.

2 screens per track times 7 rounds times $15,000 equals $210,000.

What's your thoughts?

Petchy will no doubt add some thoughts from a "bosses" perspective.
Actually I would drop the gate takings out of it and try to sell sponsorship/advertising through it. Could you sell $30K worth of adverts through those screens for a weekend? Dunno, good question.

You must have connections that have been in the sport long enough to confirm this.
Don't really know any one in the sport that would know about that but the creek that used to run down next to pit lane where I think a driver or two has ended up. When they changed the creek they could have done it then or put the bridge in another location so it doesn't ruin the view for people in any stand watching the racing.

So the NZ's are up for a 'display' race or two this weekend at the 400. I have a gut feeling about engine blow ups this weekend, one in particular.......

The NZV8's don't have to show up unless a sponsor agreement not required for the franchise spot.

Interesting to see Johnny Mac is pulling double duty driving a porsche.
