Marshals required Rockingham 21/22 May. BMW Power Festival
Marshals are urgently required for the BMW Power Festival at Rockingham on 21/22 May.
It is billed as a BMW Extravaganza with Andy Priaulx demonstrating a Williams F1, also present will be the 1999 Le Mans winning V12 LMR, and BMW WTCC entrants. Racing includes the Formula BMW UK Championship, Kumho BMW Championship and Miltek BMW championship; additionally Andy Priaux in BMW’s brand new M5 will give passenger rides. The entire BMW range will also be on display. This meeting is not on the oval so lots of marshals will be required.
If you are not doing anything next weekend and have not been to Rockingham before then it is well worth a visit. Saturday is a late start and early finish. Looking at the list of marshals it looks like we will be VERY short on circuit, ie in all duties:- incident, flag, observer. |

Andy Priaulx is going to be driving all three of the 'highlight' cars (the F1, the Le Mans car, and the championship winning ETCC (now WTCC) car. (Confirmed by the man himself on 'tintop tuesday')

I'm going to try my best to get there, maybe just for Sunday, but will try.
