Zonda R for Le Mans?

Anybody else seen the computer images of the new Zonda R to be released at the Geneva auto show this month. damn good looking and any new GT(1?) entry has to be a good thing, esp if an ALMS team picks one up. pic on http://www.supercars.net/Pics?v=y&s=...ZondaC12R1.jpg

not sure if anybody started this thread already so move it if needed.

neiltbag should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What's the max displacement for a naturally aspirated engine in GT1? The Zonda's engine is 7.3 litres.

8.0L. The Zonda GR has attempted to run GT1 before, they just never could get them to last. The Mercedes-AMG V12 tended to destroy gearboxes.

This is true... tore right through the one we used in '03. I've been sitting on this info for a bit now, and it is certainly exciting, but the car is being prepared as a trackday/developmental car in the same mould as the Ferrari FXX, and the Maserati MC12 Corsa. There are 7 being built; all of them sold already if i'm not mistaken... this is most likely never going to see any sanctioned competition.

It's what's coming next from Pagani that I'm looking forward to...
