Jamesd should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cars

Hi

I am 16 years old and intrested in becoming a motorsport mechanic, in September i am planning to go to Lackham college and do a course there. I was wondering if anybody needed a hand with theirs cars, either before the racing season or at meetings. I am based in Swindon, Wiltshire and dont mind travelling. Also i shall be helping out at Castle combe this year, so if anybody is racing there i dont mind helping out. Even if it is cleaning wheels. All i want is experience. Any advice welcome.

Thanks
James

You have a great attitude James. I wish you all the luck in college and making your way in the motorsport profession.

Good luck in college.
If you get in contact with people great things can happen.
Last year i've heard that there were people of a racing series here in Holland who needed people te work for them.
I reacted and 2 days later I was standing in Assen on a racetrack in the middle of the night.
Now a half year later I worked a full season in the BRL-V6 for Donny Crevels
During the A1 GP event on Zandvoort we had Jan Lammers in the team, of course taken a look in the pitbox of A1 team Holland.
I've really had a great season, and next year 2 races during both european Champ Car weekends

But most important i've got more experience.
