7. Bit processional at times, but had enough going on to keep me interested and last few laps really added to it

I would have voted '1' if not for the end of race tyre entertainment. Up until then it was duller than a grey summers day in Northants (or Bucks).

Everyone seems to think a race isn't interesting if there isn't a tooth and nail battle for the race lead......but I find the mid-field scraps as interesting (particularly those between team mates), as well as enjoying, at Silverstone, the sheer mind-blowing speed of the cars.....they are covering the lap quicker than I can the International circuit, and the corners where they have a lift and maybe a dab of the brakes when we are well on the brakes and down at least a gear just leaves me in awe.......


The drama of the last few laps gave it an extra frisson, I guess, but I still would have rated it fairly high - gave it an 8. Interestingly I note despite the whingeing, over 50% of ratings were 7 or 8
