Techno freak
Hey everyone
Can any of you good people out there give the adress of any websites that deal in depth with racecar setups, technical diagrams, engine and transmission information pertaining to Cart, Indy or Nascar. I've tried the official sites but the tech data is a bit simplistic. As a mechanic myself i'm one of those sad losers who are strangely drawn to the inner workings of all things mechanical, I even read car workshop manuals in bed for cars that I dont even own for Chrissake. Thanks alot guys |

Workshop manuals for cars you don't own? That's just sick. I really doubt you will find that kind of info, with the possible exception of Nascar. Get a manual for a 350 from the 60s.

Oily, glad to be of assistance (I think... I surely don't want to be a contributer to driving a wedge between you and the wife )
PS - I though it, but now I know you are mad! |

Hey! Oily, I forgot about one. (see I don't have a pornographic memory)
WWW.TECHNICALF1.COM They don't have a lot of stuff, but the stuff they do have is advanced. By the way, I like your posts, of course I'm a retired wrench myself; perhaps I lack the refined sensibility of our easily pained contributors. |

Hey Norm! Top site dude! Some of that stuff about the damper system on the Penske got my oily ole heart a pounding in a way thats not been experienced since I stumbled upon a well thumbed copy of The fundamentals of Motor Vehicle Technology in the toilets at London Bridge railway station, some of the gearbox cross section diagrams were wild baby. Unfortunately some of the pages were stuck together, that damn oil gets everywhere I guess
Emfa you a fine judge of character mister Cheers fellas |
