Classic Sports Car Club - free trip for 2 to Daytona 2007
For those of you who enjoy watching and marshalling at real race meetings please take a look at the following.
The offer from the Classic Sports Car Club is extremely generous and I hope they are rewarded by a surfeit of volunteers for their meetings next year. On behalf of BMMC and all volunteer officials I have thanked them for their kindness. Enjoy Chris Hobson National Chairman BMMC .......................................................... Sarah Hutchison, Chairman, CSCC sent the following:- The email below came unsolicited from a marshal at Snetterton on Saturday at our final race meeting of the year. The Classic Sports Car Club has a firm policy of maintaining a high level of driving standards. The meeting at Snetterton had over 150 cars entered in a variety of endurance and sprint races, many of which were composed of combined Championships which had raced with us over the year. It IS still possible to have fun racing old and new cars competitively without accident damage or, worse still, injury to competitors or marshals. The CSCC has a strong following of marshals who like to attend our race meetings, and next year this will be rewarded by a Prize Draw for a pair of tickets to fly with us to Daytona in November for our invitation races, the draw to be taken from all of the marshals who sign on with us during the season. ............................................................ Hi I was marshalling at Snetterton this weekend ( 7/10/06 ) and would like to thank the CSCC for a great day of racing. It was great to see very close racing without having car smashing into eachother you see at other meetings! (btcc). Also it was great to see all the old cars still being raced and not being locked in a garage only to come out on sunny sunday afternoons. I have only been marshalling for about a year and it was one of the best meetings i have done!! |

Chris, this is a fantastic offer and one that several other clubs should take note of. Thanks to the CSCC for thinking of us all.

No minimum number has been quoted - as far as I am aware each time you marshal you get an entry - but I will double check and find out for you
