Introduction and update on BT35-X2.

Hi,
I appreciate the last post on this thread was in May last year, but as the thread originally started in 2003, I guess any new posts and updates will be welcome.

I've just started Historic Racing in the UK and did my first season in Historic Formula Ford in 2015. I'm totally hooked !

I have recently been fortunate enough to secure Brabham BT35-X2 from Japan ( Still sitting as a Formula Two car, with a BDA, but not being used.)

We are bringing the car back to UK and hoping to re-commission -X2, and get the car back racing again in Historic F2.
This will mean re-applying for FIA and HSCC papers, as both have expired.

I have read with interest the information about the car within the earlier pages of this thread, but any additional history anyone can help me with would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ross Drybrough
