yeah camping both Friday and Saturday nights sounds like a long fun weekend.

But do they sell healthy food like salad stuff, or is it just burgers and hot dogs ? :P

I'll decide what im doing nearer the time, but a long weekend sounds good.

WOW! I have got the weekend off of work, well actually I got someone to do my shifts for me! So as you can guess I will definately be there unless a certain person who happens to be taken me turns round and says we aren't going at which point I will hit that certain person very hard where it is very painful! What time is everyone planning to get to the campsite for. It opens at midday Friday and shuts at midday Sunday. I'm aiming to get there for about 2pm Friday if not earlier.

i'm turning up some time on saturday morning (in a possible convoy - am trying to get friend to join in).
nasty mr boss has reminded me of my credit debts and my planned extensive absense from work, and the increasing pantsness(?) of my car stereo. i'm sure plenty of lucky buggers will have the day off though.

btw, finally got my pics back from donny, and i can name all but one of the people in the mini picture - impressive, huh?!

The Saturday might be a good day not to be working. Friday and Saturday night should be good fun, are we having a little campfire? I can bring along some really good fire lighter fluid if it's needed.

I might bring some wood along so we can have a proper camp fire. No petrol though, just a small quantity of lighter fluid and that will be all. Well apart from beer, food and all the other camping type bits and pieces. Sleeping bag might be a good idea this time.

Daz, we've never needed lighter fluid on the BBQ before, and we've been doing this long enough now. We'd all feel a lot safer if you left the bottle at home.

Actually you reminded me there Redshoes, we have given up on those dodgy disposable barbeques and bought a proper charcoal jobbie... must remind Invader to bring it!

Camp fire sounds good - i'll bring a saw and we can cut down a tree or two

Ok then, no lighter fluid or anything flammable for the BBQ. Do you want me to bring along the gas BBQ again, also I've got a 2 place burner and grill so we can do things like baked beans, anything that comes in a tin, even lovely frest toast in the morning and got a decent kettle for doing strong black coffee.
