Not in my opinion. Salzburgring's a proper old-school, balls-out kind of track which offers great slipstreaming battles and a good overtaking opportunity into the first chicane.
None of the races I've seen at Zolder recently have been memorable. |

Lynk was testing there, so they won't have that advantage now.

I agree, both are old style tracks. We'll see, I remeber good races also in Zolder with the old Superstars V8 Series but in mixed weather conditions. Of course different championship and different cars...

Even in the BTCC you get a few tracks where overtaking is difficult, yet they still manage to put on a good show. At least we are not going back to Morocco again

So Filippi Is officially confirmed and It seems for all the WTCR Championship alongside Vernay.
The Italian driver reached the agreement after the 14th August so it's registered as a wild card from Zolder onwards! ----------------- He struggled in TCR Europe with FWD, let's see what he can do in this second season in touring car |

To be fair, he stuck it on pole for Hyundai in the first round a few weeks ago. Think the commentary stated he had failed to finish / qualify in the top 10 before, though.

Always rated Berthon highly after his first year so very pleased to see him get pole! Can't help but think the Audis have some favourable BOP though, with the Hyundais taking too big a hit. |

No testing with the new car, I'm sure Zengo will recover as the season progress

If WTCR continues going this path I don't see a long future of it especially because it was supposed to be a 'customer racing' but manufacturers have a lot to say. |

WTCC/R has always been ruled by incompetence. Although you could say the same about every racing series that has ever existed.
Girolami won the first race but two of his teammates blew up. It was nice of Euroshit to throw a full-length ad-break in there 2/3 of the way through the race. |
