On average, the PWC GT3 cars are 1-2 seconds off of the GTLM qualifying times from 2014, which is to be expected (but still exciting). It's also amazing how much faster they are than GTD, as the changes between similar cars are expensive (on the TUDOR side) but certainly make for a slower car.

Can't really compare GTD, lose ABS, TCS, get stuck with the pathetic Crawford wing, etc, GTD will be much better when it's full GT3 next year.

you know, surely pirelli tyres are not as good as michelin, but surely much better than TUSC continental. Let's consider also that TUSC bop makes GTD cars extremely heavier tha usual, that explained everything.

Don't think so, they're likely gonna performance balance the GT3s as a whole down so that the GTEs stay artificially ahead just like in ELMS. I can see people like GM requesting that too

IMSA already said they would allow GTLM to be sped up to keep a comfortable gap to GTD/GT3. So...yeah...

Yeesh, I'm sure the racing will be great, but they really need to stick to Indycar supports.
That crowd is pathetic. |

Who admits defeat to the power of PWC first? Will F1, IMSA, NASCAR, ACO, or IndyCar be the first to collapse under the might of GT3 racing?
Good thing is the fans in attendance didn't have to deal with long lines for the restrooms. |

Race was rather sort of Mehh and ok.just like any other race at cota boring and uninspiring.
Seriously what do you guys expect f1 crowds,CoTA is huge!just like silverstone even 30,000 spectators will make it look empty. I Still think some people have over hyped PWC. |

I wouldn't be too concerned about attendance yet, like Lagunaseca4_life said, COTA is huge, always looks empty.
And PWC is still a growing series! |

Not a good look for the PWC brand. Maybe stick to IndyCar weekends or smaller tracks. Boring race and it's even worse when a bomb can be let off at a track and not hit anyone. Made Grand Am look respectable.

Yep, need to stick to Indycar supports. 40+ cars around Toronto will be madness.
