I would but frankly who is going to buy photos of their own wheel nuts? Anyone can do that with a regular camera. I'd rather take the ones where the camera comes into it's own...

Although maybe an arty photo of the Lydden toilet block?

Welcome to Ten-Tenths!

And very entertaining as ever. I thought it had got the better of you at some points but very well held!

Or the strange food van on the dover slope with the immovable queue.

Loved the Jag, I think the missus thought I was going a bit odd - giggling like a schoolgirl everytime it kicked the back out halfway round a corner.

Some pics from Saturday.

Bill Richards nearly rolled it.

The Nissan Skyline goes grass cutting

Ken drifts the Jag

The Ford Escort scrap

It got even closer between the Escorts

The trucks were fantastic

If not entirely environmentally friendly!

The National Hot Rods were superb. Most of them avoided the tyre walls. Richard Spavins didnt, but was repaired for the next race.

All the short oval stuff will be on RacePixels.co.uk later in the week.

Regards

Matt

Sorry I missed it this year - from the photos, it looks like you were on fine form. Are you coming out to play in tintops again this year ?

Matt, I wondered who deranged the tyre wall, now we know. Glad he got it fixed for later and I bet Mr.Spavins is pleased it was only tyres there!
Excellent photos, really catch the flavour of the day.

Was the tintops race on Sat a tintops race or something combined with tintops? I couldn't figure out the ADR being there or whatever it was called.

It was combined with sports/saloons (hence the ADR and Caterham). Unfortunately, with a clashing meeting at Brands Hatch the same day, their numbers were down quite a bit and we didn't want to run any races with single figure grids, mainly due to it being a packed programme. Still cannot believe we ran 36 races without a single red flag.

Allthough there were some sports cars in the race it did not matter as the tin tops were racing against each other and the sports cars were having their own race.I nearly rolled it due to Peter Crewes making slight contact with me.

I took my 12 yr old son and his friend and we had a great day out. They enjoyed the morning's racing over the oval stuff, very entertaining driving you guys, I had almost forgotten to see cars sideways with smoke pouring off the tyres!

Everyone that we spoke to in the paddock seemed very friendly, the boys even sat in a couple of Baby Grands and had the engines started for them, my son saw 13,000 rpms on the tacho in his, my thanks to the drivers who arranged this.

The trucks and Camso's were awesome, although we wasn't sure if some of the overtaking in the former was perhaps staged to some extent, how can they possibly find room to pass around the Hill !
We will be back next year for definate.

Paul.

last year the trucks only gave a demonstration,

this year it was for real, there were points at stake.
