First BARC meet of the year except the C1s at Croft.Looking forward to listening to comms on TSL for this one and might do a report of a couple of the races.Good to see 4 Holdens in the gracing the entry which will be interesting to see along with some nice cars with 18 pre 66 cars.Hopefully the weather stays good up there and delivers some great racing which normally the CTCRC delivers on.

Al Weyman (occasional contributor on here) was running his "Bumble" Camaro in pre-83 - he had two reasonable races, but as usual was grumbling about the 190 mile haul "up North"

Rob Alman (the Apothecary on here) was running in his BMW Compact in the Kumho BMW series - had a decent first race coming to terms with the new-to-him car, but retired right in front of us on the approach to Cascades with drive failure in race 2, having passed 2 cars and in the process of catching another.....

Some good racing during the day, although in the BMW races the leader ran away and hid, some 3 - 4 seconds a lap quicker than the 2nd and third placed cars

Cheers for the reply.Saw that there was Nissan GT3 there in the Saloon race.Quite a car to have at a 'clubbie'.Seen Al race a couple of times, had the Camaro for quite a while I think.

Unable sadly to get to Brands today.Looked to have had good racing there.Hopefully HSCC next weekend.

What happened in the CNC heads race. Looks like 9 cars eliminated and safety car shortly after re-start?

Yes, big pile-up on the startline causing immediate red flag - although I saw at least one overtake under red through Cascades! - and then in the restarted race, minus 9 or so cars, there was an Escort went off at Lodge (I think) which triggered a safety car - but the SC only came out after the leading four cars had passed, so the SC crawled round for several laps until leading bunch had caught the tail of the field.....not sure what the plan was to be after that - theoretically wave the rest of the field past and wait for them to catch up again (!), but recovery of the Escort was taking too long so they threw an early chequered. So only about 2 racing laps..........not the best of starts to a season.

Thank you for the update. It sounded very confusing.
