Jay should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Well I am not Gerard. But, there are only 2 real possible opportunities. Here is a map from f1-live.com :
The best opportunity is if two cars can remain close togethter coming out of 130R, and make a move into the Triangle chicane.
If this doesn't work the other opportunity is approaching the hairpin.
That's about it. Dont expect a lot of passes.

Better news. The track is damp and rain is supposed to fall half way through the race.

Rain!!??

How can anyone predict the timing of rain that accurately? I worked in Hong Kong for 16 years, I could see rain showers from my office window all over th eplace, but I certainly would never dream of saying that rain would start at a particular time. The Japanese must have some hi tech radar to be that accurate. Having said all this, I think that TGF with the Brains of Brawn behind him, will romp it in if the conditions are that unstable.
