Another Roval Attempt

Right this one is based around a 1.5 mile or 2.4km Oval. The oval I've used is a tracing from Google Earth of the South African Welkom oval.

As such scale is correct if anything I've made the infield circuit a little wider than the actual road course at the facility, which extends outside the oval.

As a note the Infield straight would be approximately 800m or 0.5miles long.

I've posted the original Google Earth image as well as the my variation.

Comment, Criticisms and edits welcome as always.

Yannick should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I like what you've done there. But I'd use the grid straight as front straight and remove the final chicane. And that optional chicane after Turn 1 reminds me of that corner they removed from Hungaroring in the late 80s, which means it's unnecessary. Maybe some of the sharper corners like Turn 2 or the double right-hander Turn 8 and 9 could have been loosened up a little in radius.
Anyway, I think this is a great roval.

I brought the S/f straight away from the Oval Pitlane a bit so as the when being used as an oval with "over the wall" pitstops the teams had space behind them before the garages.

Thanks for the conmments
