What is it with GR Asia?
Is it a british team? Or an Asian? I remember them to run some honda civics in the ETCC 2002 or 2003, but do they have a longer racing history? |

They did compete in the 2001 BTCC as GR Motorsport running production spec Focus's for various drivers - however I think the team folded IIRC? It's the same man at the top though with GR Asia - Paul Ridgeway.

GR Asia is based (at least on paper) in Hong Kong: http://www.gr-asia-racing.com/index....d=26&Itemid=53 Their long time sponsor Noble Group is also based in Hong Kong. Are they only sponsor or are there other links? New (?) website GR Asia: www.gr-asia-racing.com |

They've folded several times so I am told. Allegedly.

One BMW stays, and could this be telling WSR to stay away?

They have a big support from Liqui Moly! It seams to be that they will start with the e90 and not with the old e46!

I don't normally do these sort of posts but following the example in the equivalent BTCC thread I think we need a recap.

I don't think WSR are in the "Stated intent" section, they are more in the rumours. I can't see them going to WTCC.

Menu I knew had re-signed but I've lost track of what's actually been announced. WSR have said that they are looking at both BTCC and WTCC, which is close enough to 'stated intent' to me. |

I think Thompson has a good chance to get a drive in the Chevy. He is available and he is a Briton, so he is the perfect substitute for Huff. Not to mention that i reckon him as a much better driver....

Nicola has been consistantly scoring points. And that's what wins championships. Granted more wins would be better and more impressive! |

He would have had more if it wasn't for his hot-headed-ness. If my driver threw away a p3 like he did in Porto I'd kick him off my team right away.
