I'm not sure if I still have any left, but I did have some Ford Electronics Jelly Beans from the 95/96 Valvolene Mondeo years. I think they may just be out of the Best Before Date.

Still good then. Sugar's a preservative, and BBE dates are just a guidance anyway.

So did we ever see the full Boardley livery? Or what Collard was testing the other day?

I very much doubt it.

Dynamics/Honda/Halfords/Yuasa would need to get their wallets out. 150k each would do.

Depends as well on the profit being made on cars and parts sold to BTC as well

The sensible business decision for Matt would be to step aside and concentrate on running the team full-time. Steve must be in his mid-70s by now (not been able to find a source that confirms his exact age, but he was racing at least as early as 1968). Matt's still decent enough behind the wheel, but it's hard not to think he's lost a bit of his edge the last three or four years. I think Shedden would crush him this year if they were team-mates.

With all the mystery surrounding the last two seats do we think there will be no more announcements until media day at the earliest

Steve is 80 at the end of the upcoming season.

I have to agree, Matt hasn't quite had the speed he once had the past few seasons. He can still pull a result at the bag due to his experience, but I can't see him winning a title again

Although it makes sense for Matt to step aside, I don't think he would want to retire in that fashion.

It would be good to see Dynamics buy out Simpson, get Shedden out in a 3rd FK8. They could then run the Simpson FK2 as part of a 2 car team in TCT and reduce the costs for Henry.

Unless the Motorbase 3rd driver won't be testing at Brands on 10th and 11th March, we have at least one more announcement before Media Day.

Can't see Shedden at Motorbase.

Looking forward to seeing MKIV Focus though.

It's all very well but where does the £600,000 come from?....

In other news how long before BTCC is cancelled because of Coronavirus?...

I thought we'd established Flash at Motorbase wasn't happening now?

Sorry, I didn't realise that you were the one to allow people to post their viewpoints or not.

I don't live on this website, unlike some, there are too many pedants and willy-waving competitions for my liking.

I saw some comments about Shedden possibly going there and decided to post my view regarding it.

Next time, I will PM you to ask your permission.

I think we've basically established that no one has any idea who the driver is, and that the new main sponsor has a predominantly red logo and may or may not have an association with polar bears.

That's about it.

on what basis have we "established" this?
I thought you were telling us that the suggestion of Shedden to Motorbase was "biggest mystery in the history of btcc"
