F1 Pool
Bernie gone nutz and introduced a F1 pool foe race day only
Drivers quailify in their contracted cars to determinwhere the driver starts the race . Then race day each driver name plus a car number is drawn from a hat ie:MS put car 1 on pole and in the drawn MS is in car 15 so MS will start in car 15 on pole and the ferrari team will look after car 15 in pitstops all day could this work ?............ Its late I'am bored

It would certainly make it interesting - but I agree there is no way the Williams pit crew would spend all the race looking after a Sauber and a Minardi!
Although I suppose Jordan would be fairly receptive to looking after a Ferrari and a McLaren! How would they all keep their precious design secrets from each other ! No will never happen. |

It would be quite helpful to some of the driver IE:fisichela in a ferrari but say coulthard he's going to be real happy driving for Jordan or Minardi

A driver racing in a car he has never driven before. Letting another teams driver race your car, and find out its development secrets. Having a pit crew work on a car in a race, which they have not worked on before. Putting a fast car with an average driver, in the middle of the pack. (hum that’s safe). Putting a slower car in front of faster cars on the grid. Who ever keeps bringing these ideas up either has no idea why we have qualifying in the first place, or is saying it to hide other intentions. I know which one I think. |
